National Centre for Tolerance : Market Research

National Centre for Tolerance logo Manchester is one of the most multi-cultural cities in the UK, it is renowned for its ability to welcome people from all walks of life. What better place, then, to lead the way in promoting tolerance and respect for those with a different outlook on life to yours.

GVA RGA were appointed to work alongside the Manchester Jewish Museum to develop a business plan and explore the potential for a National Centre for Tolerance in Manchester.

The concept is for an open and welcoming space, unique to the UK in its offering, exhibiting and celebrating the diversity of our society’s race, ethnicity, faith and sexual orientation. The centre would be many things to many people; a centre for education for groups to undertake tolerance-related training, an exhibition space for individuals to visit and a centre for local groups to meet and converse.
